Born in Germany, I have lived in the United States since 1997. I serve as pastor. My passion is to teach about Jesus' way of celebrating and sharing God's blessings.

Cindy
I am from the Detroit area and have lived out East. I am a second career pastor. My strength is caring for people, and helping them experience God's blessings.
Cindy and I have a collection of over 125 Nativities that tell the story of Jesus' birth for the whole world in many different ways.
My dad Max is a certified master nativity builder who has a big collection and creates his own manger scenes that are on display with the Nuremberg Club each year.

My wife and I are sponsors through the Christian relief and development organization World Vision.
We have supported work completed in Haiti, and currently a project in the Dominican Republic.

World Vision SponsorshipOur prayer is for our sponsored child Yeyli and her community in the Dominican Republic. And also for all workers and volunteers of World Vision and the many people who are served and saved by them.
We also pray for the people with whom Cindy and I work as pastors, and for the rural towns we live in, that God will bless us with peace, opportunities for ministry, and faith.
I pray especially that more people come to know Jesus' love, and through it be changed so as to experience salvation and help welcome God's reign in our world.

We are blessed to know God's love through faith in Jesus. We believe that God's Spirit freely provides all people with generous gifts. And so we live to express our gratitude both in our church vocations but also personal life.

We thank God for bringing us together while we were both attending seminary. Our love and work have taken us places we would never have been able to imagine. All along, God has been trustworthy, supportive, and then some.

We currently live in rural Illinois. Our joy is to worship, to serve, and explore God's creation, and to spend time with family, friends and other people we meet along life's way. Whether we cross paths with you or not, may God come into your life.
